I didn't do a hex comparison but based on the fact thee file sizes for both radios are exactly the same size, they are probably the same. But if it helped, that's great! I found the 1151 WiFi issue was corrected by assigning a static ip. Much better now.

I did the same on Z10STL100-3/10.3.1.1151. Best battery and overall radio, wifi and Bluetooth performance I've had in a long while.

Yes. I usually leave my phone on the charger for an hour, while carrier data does its thing in the background.

After installing just the core on my 1151 STL100-1, my battery readings are broken. Even I have 70-75% remaining it suddenly drops to 0%. No such issues before that core update. Maybe its just a coincidence that I had that problem after the core install, but it was already there to pop.

Any suggestions? Swcurity wipe?

What OS did you install just the Core OS over? If you've left out the system apps that are also necessary for OS 1151 to work properly, then of course you would experience problems.
