I booked a flight with WestJet and got them to email me the boarding passes. For whatever reason, when I go to the email from them, it take about 20 seconds for the boarding pass image attachment to show up! My wife's iPhone shows it right away! This is the first time I've experienced this before, as previously the attachments would show up right away. Anyone else ever have this issue? Any resolution?

Were you on the same (Wi-Fi) network? How big was the file you received?

The boarding pass attachment is only 42.5kb large and both our phones are on the same WiFi network.

The time for a phone to download and and display an attachment like a boarding pass is going to depend on the size of the attachment and the speed of the data connection.

It's also going to depend on whether the email app automatically downloads all attachments or waits until you open them.

What I don't get is that my Z30 used to download the boarding pass image file instantaneously but now my Passport has this delay. Not only that, but the iPhone downloads it instantaneously too. Weird. And the file is such a small one too.

If you can reproduce the issue, first disable the "Automatic Trip Scanning" in BlackBerry Travel.
