Does anyone find that in certain parts and apps of BB10, there is a significant delay in the function actually being carried out when you tap it?
One example is the iGrann app - if you tap on the Explore tab, it displays popular photos. But when you click a specific photo, there is dead air for some time, and then the page with the photo will slide over. Also in Twitter, Facebook, sometimes the pictures app, etc...

Is this something that can be improved or is it simply a limitation of the OS?

It's not a BB10 problem, it's poorly written apps.

Okay, so how does the app developer go about fixing this? Because It's a very common site in a lot of apps, so I feel like it is complicated to correct. I don't develop apps so I don't know, but what I do know is that apps are a lot more enjoyable to use when they "flow" throughout the entire time, unlike many apps do right now.
