As many already know, BB 10 is a very fluid and fast OS,...but something I feel is highly needed is the ability for the vKeyboard to pop up anytime after one selects "Contacts". Even if one can change a setting to make this happen by selection, if not auto by Default ( "[ ] Display Keyboard Immediately When Accessing Contacts").

This should be very doable!

What they need to do is similar to what iOS is doing now with iOS 7. That feature being the swipe down on the screen anywhere when on the app grid. BlackBerry 10 has the option to do this because on BES enabled devices, to swipe down on the screen to toggle between work and personal...what BlackBerry should do is enable this on ALL BB10 devices (consumers) but modify the action from "Work/Personal" to open a search bar where you can then search the phone, or do instant actions...would be great!!

This would also clear up a space in the bottom bar, which then can allow user customization for the bottom icons...preferably BB would allow all 3 icons to be controlled, but if they won't do that then at least the search button can be swapped for like calendar, contacts, or a BB Native OS app

Yes, yes, and yes, a thousand times. The only reason why they have it implemented as it is right now is to give a "differentiation" factor to the Q10. In fact, they could even implement a virtual keyboard based speed-dial, but again, this will affect the attractiveness of the Q10 and BlackBerry does not want that for now.
