i wanted to ask if i can make opera mini as my default browser so when i open links in facebook, twitter, bbm and other apps it would open by default on opera. we don't have fast internet in The Philippines so opera serves me well when browsing.

Yes. You can do that. Press and hold on any link. In the overflow menu, choose "open in". In the next screen, click "set as default app" and select opera mini from the list.
