i have very stragne issue with my z10 ... after the date 3 may when ever I restart my phone after two or three days it reset to 3:40 am and 3 may date I don't know what to do but my area remain the same any help ... I have this problem on 10.2.1.3175 and 10.3.0.442 sdk

Set the time and turn off auto time update. You could be getting a false reading from your provider.

I have already switched it off but it didn't work if it is wrong reading from provider then the time should change on each reboot but here it always reset to 3:40AM

I have the same prblm haunting me for some days now. When ever I restart / reset my phone the timing automatically changes to 1st May.I thought something in my phone must be broken or d SIM might be d culprit .So I changed d Sim. But now I think it has something to do with the new OS 10.2.1.3175. This the worst official /leak OS that I have on my Z10. Full of bugs n radio is awefull. I also have the random WiFi On/Off issue too. Hope BlackBerry fixes these bugs n release a new update soon.

now I am downloading 10.2.1.2141 I never experienced this issue in 2141 will update here if the problem persists or gone

I am sorry it again appear for second restart but this time it is 9 FEB
I think it is reseting to its buil date because 3175 was reseting to 3 may and 2141 is reseting to 9 FEB

I think I have solved it ....... I changed my signal from auto that detect 3g now in Pakistan for ufone to 2g to save battery and I think after that this started to happen now I switched back signal to 3g and switched the auto update on and now its working no issue after restart it shows old time for a second then It changed to present time but this trick works only when wifi is on

well its not a trick. when you Z10 is connected to wifi or mobile internet it will automatically update date and time from internet.

The os knows what day it was built. It obviously can't be before that date, so if the network is providing a bad time, it will refuse to go earlier than the build date.

well im having same issue on my Z10. restarting/shutting it down resets date to the build date of OS.
