Seriously, once you have even a single device of BlackBerry, eventually you will develop an inevitable and irresistible urge to buy and collect MORE of them--BB10 or legacy ones notwithstanding. Verrrrry dangerous for your pocket, not to mention complaints from the spouse.

You're right, I have the Z10, Z30, Q10 and Passport. I saw a mint condition Classic the other day for 180 and almost succumbed. My wife would have killed me though and i'll definitely be getting the slider.

Hi, my name is Chris and I'm a BlackBerry addict too, a Pearl, two Curves, a PlayBook and this Z10.

I previously had a Sony Ericsson and a Nokia but they weren't intuitive to my needs. I have ethical issues with Apple. Samsung seems to be easy to infect if my friends who have them experiences aren't isolated incidents. Other devices look too flimsy for my liking (also the Apple "Curve")

I can't see myself ever using another smartphone, us BlackBerry users keep BB on their toes rather than be spoonfed PR nonsense that the other manufacturers kool-aid their users with!

Haha so true, I thought with my Z30 (my first BlackBerry) it's a phone to have for a long time and I won't need to buy another one for a long time.

But with the time I thought about getting a passport and a classic, and now if the slider is running OS10 then I'll consider getting that one.

It's the OS being addictive. Once you use OS10, you realise how inefficient all other phones are.

Plus: I don't want to have a worse battery life than I now have. I just love this BlackBerry OS10.

My first BlackBerry was the Passport, by the way, which I bought just this March. In just that short period of time I added a Z10 and seemingly almost forgot of ever having held other kind of phones. I cringe in disgust at the thought of Android (mostly because that had been the OS I used for years and never feels right about) and I never have an iphone--never interested, honestly. Windows Phone is the only viable temptation, but only if BlackBerry 10 OS fails me utterly one of these days, which I very much doubt.

I will definitely collect more. The night is young. Heheh.

I nearly laughed out loud when I read the first post.

I had a 9810 slider with OS7. When my phone contract ended in June I upgraded to a Classic, which gives me OS10 (which ROCKS) and LTE cell capability. Totally rocking things - I just upgraded my wife's iPhone and HATED every minute of using that narrow, pinched virtual keyboard.

The part that makes me laugh is that the SLIDER is coming, likely, and I have been BLUNTLY informed by My Lovely Bride that I do NOT need ANOTHER BB!

    Yup - just funny.

But, but, but...we must! I personally am not interested with the slider model, so I can *perhaps* bypass it, but I must have the SE, at least. I can bribe my missus with the OG, said she's interested to try (how could she not? I never shut up about it), so she won't mind too much about me getting another BB, even after the SE. I must also have the Q10! Huh!

yes Blackberry is addictive, being a life long Nokia owner when Symbian was dropped I tried a Z10 in January 2013 and now have quiet a few of them 2 Z10's 2 Q5 1 Z30 and 4 9900's plus two playbooks, might try a Passport SE it looks good,
and the slider? yes if it has the choice of BB10 the reason I came to Blackberry.

Ye gotta have the Passport, no matter the model, if you're a true blackberrian, Allan. At least, that's what I think, because that phone is sooo beastly out of this world gorgeous it'd be a crime not to have one. Seriously. I can even say you may pass the slider but the Passport is the Constitution for us, so it's a must.

9700 - I refuse to put it down even it is nearing 5th anniversary. (lol even from my CB avatar). May be I will give it to my mom to replace her Galaxy so she can have dedicated call/end buttons.
Z10 - The perfect device except battery.
Passport - LOL, I have to bribe my spouse with Z10 to get that Passport.

Still thinking of Q10/Classic to replace 9700 if I give that legacy to my mom. But how to pacify my spouse?
That Blue Classic is very dangerous to my love life

If I may, I would like to ask: if I have to choose, do you think I should get the Q10 or the Bold 9900/9930? They are both very tempting, and I have never had the Legacy device before.

For me, it started with the Passport. Then I bought the Z30. Absolutely in love with BB10. Yesterday I got the Q10. Next will be the Z10, then the Classic and Leap. And finally the P'9983. And then maybe a Red & SE Passport.

    So help me God!

In that case, as I am already having BB10 devices, and internet is not a big requirement out of the device, I will pickup Bold 9900/9930 definitely. IMO they are the best utilitarian devices.

Even I am thinking of laying my hands on that cute bold 9790. LOL, BlackBerry is Evil The Danger of BlackBerry-boldlanding_ww.jpg
