Cut but no Paste in 10.3??

Anyone else experiencing the inability to paste text after copying or cutting?

No, can't say I've had that problem. Any time I've had text in the clipboard, all I had to do was put a cursor in whatever field I wanted to paste to, lift my finger off, and the the Paste icon would show up.

I'm getting the paste icon after copying text but it's not inserting the clipboard text.

I'm still finding the cut and paste touch and go with this OS. I find I often have to share something to my email then cut it from there because 75% of the time I can't cut from the source. Oh, I can "Copy" by pressing the copy button after I highlight the text but when I go to paste I discover that nothing was copied. Frustrating.
