    More times than not, if you ask a carrier a question they give you a text book answer or make some excise that it's not their job to provide customer service on BlackBerry.

    And where is BB going to get the billion dollars to open these stores (just in the 20 biggest cities)? And then the funds to operate them? How many phones more would they sell as a result? How much more would they have to charge for each phone to pay for it all?

    There's a reason that only Apple, who takes 90+% of all mobile profits, has such stores - customer service is EXPENSIVE and BB is far too small to offer such a level of service in a country the size of the US - much less the whole world.

    There was an article saying they are opening up a store or something in some country. Canadian company and no representation. Quite sad. Trying to email or call them on hardware is next to impossible.

    Apple rolled out stores long before phones and they have product offerings for the store. You could fit BlackBerry products on a single card table. Maybe they should instead set up swap meet locations across the country.

    The hardware division is already losing money. Hand out the phones and open up a few centres to assist people and to show them you care and who knows things may change!

    What are you going to have, a display of 4-5 phones? How about they just offer free through ShopBlackBerry? That would be cheaper, better use of shareholders money and sounds absurd but not quite as *********

    Since BlackBerry will never unseat the iFone, why not sell bb10 line in apple stores with custom means of sharing with their products as enterprise packages & solo customers too ??
