This time i might be crossing the limit, but may be its possible.
We all know that sliding two finger gesture brings up the virtual keyboard but it does not down-size the screen. it might me possible if Blackberry add a feature that bringing the keyboard reduces the display size according to the virtual keyboard size and convert a Z30 into a Q10 with virtual keyboard

Hmm? Can I help you correct the title of your thread?

I'm not sure what that would get you, other than some applications that might be have in unexpected ways when the screen resizes, causing changes in layout.

I think I understand.. you mean that when you type, the app behaves as if it can only occupy the same space a q10 app would. Keyboard would fill in the remaining space and could be more permanent depending on the app. This is an interesting idea, but, not sure what I think

If BlackBerry want, they can make it happen
Doesn't seem like a complex task
