Has anyone started a countdown clock?

Does anyone know exactly what's going to happen when Doom Hour strikes?

Will BlackBerry forcibly remove or deactivate the native app? Or will FB flip some switch to make it stop working?

Will a warning video from the FB CEO suddenly appear? Will an alarm go off with an emergency alert from Interpol?

I misread it as a thread title about MF DOOM.

There would probably be a verse from MF DOOM alerting you that FB would stop working at that moment.

If you are unhappy with using the browser version or BlackBerry World alternatives, Older versions built for the Android OS work with the .apk file extension, Same with the Messenger application which works with HUB notifications.

Seriously: Canada is a pretty big country; we have 6 different timezones. From east to west they are Newfoundland Time Zone, Atlantic Time Zone, Eastern Time, Central Time Zone, Mountain Time Zone, and the Pacific Time Zone.

Mine was doing this a few weeks ago, I don't know if I fixed it or it was magic but...
I opened a Fb hub entry, something like 'someone is attending an enevnt near u',and from there I navigated to my home feed and it didn't crash.

Now it's fixed...

Mine was doing that. Are you still getting notifications in the hub? I was, so one day after about a week of my fb app crashing I accidentally clicked on a notification, which opened fine. I then hit the back button and my news feed loaded. Ever since, my app has worked fine. Someone also told me they had the issue and just rebooted their phone and that fixed it. So I'm not sure if I would've rebooted in between that time or not. Either way give them both a try and see if it helps.

I was running both FB versions (FB beta App and FB browser version). Unfortunately, it looks like I will have to use the new FB browser version now. FB Beta App version is dead now :-(

I suppose that, if you're desperate, you could wipe the phone, restore the OS to factory settings, and get the old FB back as a side effect... Then again, I wonder if anyone has actually tried that and what their results were...
