    Seems BlackBerry has stealthily added a very cool �Lock Focus� feature to the native camera app. Long pressing the white focus square will lock the focus for you. Allowing you to move your device around naturally without the camera struggling to refocus against different backgrounds. Great for concerts and even macro shots, I welcome this addition. This feature is already baked into 10.2.0.1767 so fire up your camera and check it out yourself.

    BlackBerry is set to bring a bunch of camera features to BB10 such as Panorama, 60fps video capture, low light, and even Face Focus modes.

    How do you unlock it..? Lol restart the camera?

    Now... what if. they added a manual focus after you locked it. I don't think I have ever seen a phone with a manual focus. You could use the volume up and down to focus and the middle button to take picture. Or just tap the screen like normal.

    Actually the 10.1 MR sort of has it too. If you hold down the focus square and move it anywhere off center the square gets smaller and holds the focus. Moving it back to center re-enables continuous auto focus.

    It is useful when panning for different shots when the subjects are similar distances away. Very useful for panning during a video to avoid the focus hunting.

    I just tried it out and it works I just moved the focus square a little bit up so it looked like it was still in the middle and it stays green after it focused
