    I go into the contacts settings and turn off everything except for my main email contacts, but then it randomly resets itself so everything is on.. not sure if it is just when I restart or if it's after a certain amount of time.. either way, it's really annoying.. three of my friends are also encountering it as well. Anyone know a fix or as to why it's happening?

    This is a known bug u believe. Hope it gets fixed. It randomly resets. I have seen it with no restarts.
    Hope it's fixed soon. Really annoying.

    Hey, thanks. I figured it was a bug, just didn't see it around anywhere. Thanks for letting me know that it's a known bug, really starting to annoy me, just not as much as the duplicate contacts thing yet. Is it only us on Verizon who are encountering these issues?

    Nope. I am on Rogers in Toronto and have had this issue from Day One. The duplicate contact issues on Gmail only started recently and apparently it's also an issue in iPhones also.

    I have this problem as well from day one. I know it is an OS bug and will be fixed. For now I have turned off the CardDAV syncing with my email accounts. I just wish that the OS would remember my options as to which contacts to display because I can not turn off LinkedIn syncing.
