This is getting annoying now. I link my contacts together to reduce redundancy but after a few hours or so they go back to the way they were before! Wtf!!
It's so annoying now. Plus some contacts show multiple phone numbers when they are the same except for a +1 or something in front of the number.
I have contacts synced to my Gmail, plus Facebook, LinkedIn, and twitter. I'm guessing contacts saved in the phone itself are causing the problem

BlackBerry is aware of the issue, look here: KB34047-Duplicate Gmail Contacts appear on the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone

It was a lot worse before, so I suggest that, if you didn't yet, you try one of the leaks for the Z10. It happens far less often on those.

I gotta I only bother with the ones I deal the most now. LOL.

Problem for me is I don't have gmail linked with my phone and get the same issues.
