    Hi everyone,

Long time Blackberry user, but first time BB10 user. I just got a Q5 and was setting up my contacts. I use both a BB and an iPhone. I have all my contacts on iCloud so I can access them on my iPhone, Mac, and web.w

However, with the BB10 I am coming across a few issues and want to know if anybody has a solution...

When I add my account, the contacts get synced to my Blackberry without problems. My sync interval is 1 hour (changed to 5 minutes for testing). My problem is keeping them in sync. Some things work, others don't.

    Scenarios:
    Working
Delete a contact from BlackBerry > reflects immediately on iPhone and Mac.
Add a contact on Mac/iPhone > syncs to Blackberry based on interval.
Add a contact to BlackBerry > reflects immediately on iPhone and Mac.
Make a change to a contact on BlackBerry (remove a number) > reflects immediately on iPhone and Mac.
Make a change to a contact on BlackBerry (add a number) > reflects immediately on iPhone and Mac.
Make a change to a contact on Mac/iPhone (remove last name) > syncs to Blackberry based on interval.
Make a change to a contact on Mac/iPhone (add email) > syncs to Blackberry based on interval.
Delete a contact on Mac/iPhone > syncs to Blackberry based on interval.

    Not Working
Make a change to a contact on BlackBerry (add last name) > changes aren't reflected on iPhone and Mac.
Make a change to a contact on Mac/iPhone (delete email) > reflected once, but didn't sync on a second contact on the BlackBerry.

So basically, it is a minor thing. Sometimes changes are reflected and sometimes not.
Sometimes works one way, but not the other. Any idea why?

Now when I add my Facebook and Twitter account, everything gets complicated...
I added my Facebook and Twitter accounts to my Blackberry and it started linking all the info to my contacts. I am afraid it will push this information to iCloud, but it hasn't yet. I don't want it to send to iCloud (rather keep my contacts clean for use on all devices - without Facebook/Twitter). Is there anyway to prevent this from linking? And since it did link, how come it didn't push the information to iCloud?
When I update a contact on my BlackBerry after adding Facebook/Twitter the contact doesn't update on my Mac/iPhone or follow the patterns listed above... basically it just throws everything off.

How can I just keep my contacts on my BlackBerry 10 device to just use iCloud and sync, but use Facebook and Twitter on the phone?

Thanks and sorry for the long post. Lots of trial and error to try and come up with a solution!

When you add a facebook or twitter account it should give you a chance to select if it syncs with your contacts or not. Delete the twitter and facebook accounts and then add them again carefully selecting do NOT sync with contacts.

The option was to "find friends". I said no. Don't see an option to NOT sync. It just starts linking accounts to names.

Thanks for any help... anyway to unlink these or choose an option to not sync?
