Contacts auto add
I find that, after the update, the names of the people sending emails to me are automatically stored somewhere in the phone. They are not stored in my contact list. However, when I compose or fwd an email, these names will be suggested as soon as I type in the first letter. Does anyone know how to stop the phone from auto storing the names and stop suggesting them when I compose an email? Thanks.

Are you on Gmail? I think it's the email service that does this, not the device.

I'm not on Gmail. I only have email service from my carrier.

I am glad someone else has this problem besides me. EVERY email I get adds itself to my auto complete suggestions. Junk mail. Website advertising, scam porn email and its annoying me. BlackBerry needs to have an option to not let that happen

This overtime can add thousands of useless possible email suggestions. I think I will go to my carrier and ask to speak to Rim and complain about this

I had seen a couple of threads on this subject and decide to try it. Sure enough, typing one letter in the to box brought up a bunch of address from received e-mails, which are not from contacts.
I guess I had never noticed it before because I usually am replying to an e-mail or going to contacts and creating from there. Definitely an irritating feature that should be controllable by the user.

Well, there was the option to turn it off in OS 6&7, so we should have the option in BB10 as well I think.

This problem is bugging me, too. Is there any chance this could be looked at in a future update, do you think?
The thing is that this feature could be really useful, if only there were a way of killing off all those suggestions that aren't wanted.
