Just noticed something quite disconcerting. It appears that the Contacts application is randomly merging unrelated contacts together! I'm syncing my contacts from outlook.com.

I initially thought that I had inadvertently done this myself manually so I deleted my email account and reimported them. It fixed some incorrect merges, however, I have noticed some other unrelated contacts (different name and number) being automatically merged by the Contacts App!

This is potentially quite a serious bug because one could inadvertently email/text someone, thinking that they are texting someone else!

Has anyone seen this behaviour?

Does this issue belong only to the q10 or also with the Z10? does this happen only with outlook or also with other email providers like gmail?

It's the BB10 OS in general. I moved the thread to BB10 OS forum.
