    Got the notification, downloaded and restarted. Then it notifies me an update is ready, it's 2639 again, it downloads, restarts, tells me an update is ready. It won't stop. I've tried turning off, soft reset, and every other BlackBerry trick... has anyone else experienced this? Any fixes? The radio isn't 2640 as I would have expected, it stayed 2340...

    There are multiple threads on restarts, but this sounds like some sort of system corruption.

    First, back up any data you can with Link, given the situation with the restarts.

    Do you have Windows? If so, best thing is to find the correct 10.3.2.2789 autoloader for your device, and load it in. If you are on a Mac, reload the latest OS with Link. if it works, you can try restoring from the Link backup.

    I'd grab the 2640 radio off thurask's thread (direct link), and install it via Sachesi or use the blitz for 2789, BlitzOS_10.3.2789_(SR 2514)_For_All_BB10_Devices - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com and upgrade the whole OS nondestructive.

    A backup first is always a good idea.

    Agree. Better idea to do it nondestructively if possible. With constant restarts might be a problem. And definitely try to get backup first.
