This happens to me on some Wi-Fi networks only.

Other devices don't have the same problem on those networks tho. So probably BBs fault.

I'm sorry for that joking part, there are many who kid everytime so I thought even you are. Yeah, even 10.2.1 was perfect too. With 10.3.1 it feels weak with multiple issues, Wi-Fi connectivity issue being the worst of all. Hope so the official 10.3.2 is as strong as 10.2.1 or 10.2.2 as you mentioned or maybe stronger.

No worries. There has been so many updates to 10.3 I'm not holding my breath to ever get wifi back to 10.2 standard

Had stock 10.2 with the issue, updated to 10.3.1, still the same issue, so not the os.
Mine fails, whether mobile network is on or off, whether there is a sim card or not. Connection always drops, then comes back on it's own, then drops, etc.

Screen shots show its not the ip, etc, or wifi strength.

Just now, had the about, network' screen on while it wasn't connecting, the screen kinda flashed, but none of the info changed but emails started pouring in. So something happened, in the phone, where it suddenly connected through the wifi to the net.

Might have found a fix. So far (edit) over 2 hours with no issues, before it was on/off/on/off every 5 minutes.

I changed my router from 2.4 to 5, and bandwidth from 20 to 40. Instantly my wifi came back and hasn't failed. And as a bonus, my bb and all wifi devices are waaaaay faster.google loads in 1/2 second instead of 2-3, even this crackberry page loaded in 2 seconds instead of 6-7 seconds.

Hopefully it will keep working

I had some WiFi issues as well. (Germany, 2x FritzBox) First, I lost WiFi with Notification in the BlackBerry Hub. Fixed that with a static IP.

Now WiFi freezes after some time, and I have to break and reactivate the connection. So I Changed in the Router-settings to g-Network (instead of "n"). Worked so far ( for one day) ;-)

Wifi is a fundamental. How has BlackBerry permitted this to go on? When HP Pre3 had an update with Wi-Fi misery, a developer made a patch to downgrade ONLY the Wi-Fi routines to the prior version... fixed it... why doesn't BlackBerry attend to this? As for my own experience, the wifi was terrible early on & has improved over the OTA updates for my setup (2.4 via Linksys Wrt150n + a CPL for more coverage)... I am doing OK now with rare occasions where fone goes nuts & no amount of fiddling helps...in the morning, it's alright... dunno why?

Wi-Fi connectivity has been a mystery ever since 10.3.1. I'm guessing BlackBerry might've attended that with 10.3.2. The only question is how soon we are gonna be updated to 10.3.2 officially so that this Wi-Fi misery ends forever.

I'd say it is 1-2% better on 10.3.2 than 10.3.1 but no where near 10.2.2

10.2.2 was really the best OS by BlackBerry. Yes, 10.3.1 is supposedly stronger than 10.2.2 but I actually feel it's the weakest, it's not strong yet, all the hype that 10.3.1 created, it made me hate 10.2 OS at that time, but now I miss it, it's solidity. I just hope that 10.3.2 is more solid than 10.2.2. The phone feels warm with 10.3.1, never felt this with 10.2.2.

Just curious OP. What kind of wifi frequency are you connecting to? There's been a long discussion in the Leap forum where people have discovered that 5 Ghz band will get dropped signals and disconnections easily when you start moving around your house.

Just like I mentioned people are having many problems with the 5ghz band. With the constant disconnection and lost signal, people are complaining BlackBerry for not putting the 5ghz on the BlackBerry Leap. Perhaps it's destiny that the Leap doesn't support 5ghz.

I had the same problem with the Passport until I did a google search and realize 5ghz is extremely problematic with protable devices. It's main purpose is to take the load off the over used 2.4ghz air and is best used with stationed devices only like TV and game consoles.

I'm not the OP, just posted a few times on this thread, I've only tried 2.4Ghz and having problems with it dropping while moving round - a not large - house.

This is my first BlackBerry device. With the HP webOS, an update led to wifi misery & a developer made a patch to reinstall the wireless network stuff from the prior version which fixed it right up immediately... thence came end of days for webOS...end of story, but this could be a means of attending to the wifi foibles causing BlackBerry considerable tarnish of its image...
