so i downloaded all the files to get google play store running. however when downloading snapchat and trying to login it would let me due to me the google play services not supported by the device. I then downloaded the updated google play services that Cobalt recommended and now it says " is not supported by your device. Please contact the manufacturer for assistance." its a real bummer. does anyone have an update on how to get snapchat running on blackberry 10?
Nine posts above your post I provided an answer. Snapchat does not work on BB10. Sorry.

I am now getting updates for google play store and google maps, which is patched. Is it safe to update google play store? And I would assume if I update google maps, it will remove the patch?

If you are getting an update notification for Play Store, you are using a very outdated vesion of the Store.

Download the update from my Play Store thread, link is in the first post.

DO NOT update Play Store from within the app itself!!!

Playstore vs Snap; possible bug in Playstore?

While setting up my new Z30 I decided to go "whole hog" and just use Cobalt232's Playstore; however, I found a number of apps that I was not able to install with Playstore but was able to with Snap. Flipboard is one such app. When using Playstore I click on "Install", get the "...needs access to" screen where I click "Accept". Then I'm just taken back to the "Install" screen. In the hub there is a notification from Playstore that just says "Error retrieving information from server [RPC-...]", or something like that.

I saw an error like that with one game, I read the reviews after the update went live and it seemed it was actually a problem with Google Play as many others had shared a similar experience. When they pushes a new version a few weeks later it all worked.

Thanks. I was referring to the standalone Photos App - not G+? I ask because everything I have read so far has let me believe that the App does not work.
I would just try it, but as it is my wifes device I would prefer to only hamper with it if I know I will be sucessful - otherwise my wife will let me sleep on the couch for days

If the Photos App works I assume I will have to patch it somehow?

Hi there Cobalt. I'm trying hard to get Google play Services to work (which I need for my Garmin Vivoactive watch to properly work with my Blackberry) but I struggled and decided to delete all the downloads I'd made and start again. But then Google account Manager failed to load second time around (your note does say don't delete after loading which unfortunately I didn't see until too late). So - what can I do to get over this first fence? Mny tks

We got Snapchat working after using Cobalt's Google Play Services setup on a Z30 with 10.3.2.

We got the same error message on the first attempt to modify Snapchat using Lucky Patcher, but had to do it again.

    Snapchat does work.
