Ok, excuse my ignorance, so to patch an APK I have to download it to the PC, patch it and upload it to the phone?

Download the app onto your phone with Cobalt's Google Play Store (but don't install it), then copy the downloaded apk to your PC. Patch the apk file, and then transfer it back to your phone and install it.

Don't forget to whitelist the unpatched app on your device.

com.google.android.gsf.login-4.3.3-cobalt.apk: failure 500 'Package-Id'

what do i do wrong?

You don't sideload Android apps.

Hi,

I am on google+ whitelist 1.0.6. Ever since i deleted one package from it, i cant add any packages. I click on add package and the screen freezes with a small status bar on the top saying "File Viewer" but no actual screen or folder list for me to pick from. tried restarting and deleting and re-installing but nothing works.

help please.

Download the apk to your device and tap the file to install. No need to sideload.

Cobalt, will you please solve the problem having with GPS 10??? I had to rollback to previous because some apps were crashing, even if I patched again without the decompile option.
still can't use in-app purchase with FR24pro

Once patched, Moovit, and Transit work very well for me. Both also integrate Uber as well. If all else fails Google Maps works great around most of the world.

The latest one available on Cobalt's Google Play Store - v5.1.3.265.

The type of BB10 device doesn't matter - unless it's a Z10STL100-1 (which sometimes has issues with maps).

First uninstall any unpatched version of the app. You can't install a patched version over an unpatched one. Read the first post again.

OK Cobalt, after some try and errors I finally got patched some of the applications I need. Many thanks to make easier our technical endeavors. However I there is an Apk, Groove IP, that I have downloaded and patched few times (after completely erased) and do not work. After the start for the first time (that you need to set the account) it ask for email, password, gender and age. Immediately a pop comes out that says that a validation code will be send to my device and I never get it. What I get on the notification hub is that Groove IP Signed out. Any ideas of could be happening?

It looks like the app doesn't receive the sms validation code. Not much you can do then.

Yeah might be some conflict with the Passport, a friend of mine installed it on a LG Android Phone and worked fine.

Hello cobalt & conite..I could successfully install OLA cabs app and it's working perfectly after cobalt's recent update. However Uber is not working. I tried whitelisting it but gives an error (refer screenshots). I'd like to thankyou guys for the contributions. And more than us Blackberry should be thanking you for keeping BB10 alive with your playstore.
