Attachment 405403 PLEASE HELP ME!!! It keeps saying "unable to open file" I just want to download Google Play Services so I can run Hangouts!!!!
You have to rename the file with the apk extension like "Play Store.apk". The name doesn't matter as long as it ends with ".apk"

I've had an old version of Google Maps running on my Q10 for about a year (patched it myself).

I just tried to patch a couple of the newer versions of Google Maps, but they all seem to have a problem where everything works, except that the map doesn't show up (stays black). Did Google switch the rendering engine to something incompatible with the Blackberry runtime?

    Not sure what's going on....

All recent versions work fine - up to and including v9.33.1. The trick is to use the correct sub-variant (of which there are 30 for v9.33.1). If you use Cobalt's Google Play Store, this will be sorted automatically. Otherwise you will have to obtain the arm, 320dpi variant. Typically the build number we want ends with #####123.

I don't have one to give you now, but I know for a fact that the latest from Google Play works perfectly when patched.

Wow, that post made me realize I had never correctly installed the patched playstore. Fixed now. Incredible lol

Thanks!! Way easier to install maps than patching...

The tutorial to get Cobalt's Google Play Store to works is swell.
Now it is no problems to use Google Maps, Earth.

Thanks Cobalt for your god work for us all.

I updated to 9.36.2 and was crushing all the time!!! so I reinstalled 9.33.1 but the variant 933102124 arm 400-640dpi and works just fine with my PP.
So you know why new version isn't working?

Throw Lucky Patcher into the garbage. Use Play services Patcher on your PC.

You still need to patch GMaps if you want to be able to sign in.

Our Runtime is simply not up to the task anymore. This is happening more and more.

Interesting. With Cobalt's Google Play Store I get a build number ending with 124. How do I get the 123 build?

    That's OK. x123 is for 320dpi and x124 is for 400-640dpi. Both arm 32bit, Android 4.3+.

    Z30 is 294dpi, so that's why I get x123. Passport is 453dpi.

Is there a way to run kodi
Dunno if this was answered but yes, just download it and run it as well as you know, set it up! Jarvis works but I find SPMC still the best for US or 15.2! Just an opinion!....
