    Dear Cobalt
I just trial installing your Google Play Services as you have directed and it was unable to install in my phone. I am using BlackBerry Classic 10.3.2.2836,. After downloading the three files(1.com.google.android.gst.login, 2. Cobalt.blackberry.googleID and 3. Com.android.vending), they seems not to be compatible with my phone. Downlaods are normally completed but, they are unable to open. Please what do I do about this?

Make sure they all have an .apk extension.

What's up guys. I have a problem... seems like with everything from the first post of this thread.
I downloaded Google Account, tried to log in, but it didn't even try to connect with servers and just reported me an error:
    Attachment 399695

I did what the app asked and waited for some time and tried again and it worked. But in the next step I've got an error again. I launched Google ID and tried to check-in but I always end up with an error:
Cobalt's official Google Apps landing page-img_20160514_074022.png

Tried to instal and run patched Gmaps, but it freezes after about 1 minute after launching. Google music can't connect with servers as well.
What do I do wrong? Maybe I missed something? Maybe someone has an idea what it could be....
    Thanks..

Google Play Store ("vending" as in vending machine..get it?). The file names vs the App name can be a bit confusing.

Windows 10 browsers-both Edge and IE show malware present when I attempt to download PS_Patcher-1.5-beta2.exe from Cobalt's share file site on mycloud. I am convinced the file is not suspicious-is there a workaround available or advice in this forum to assist? Thanks.

Here is the debug log if anyone wants to look at it and advise...is it because of some heavy processing or DB access issue? This is resulting in a sync error after adding an expense entry. Once expense entry is deleted app syncs fine. Running on Z30 10.3.2.2876 app entered into Cobalt's whitelist, patched using GMaps patcher, phone running all Cobalt's apps and successfully patching other apps.
    Cobalt thanks so much

Minapa, the file needs to end with the extension .apk in order to run. All you have to do is rename the file with the .apk extension.

    Rename to file to .apk
Than you are able to install it.

So I don't know if anyone else had this problem, but I used to have a problem where whenever I tried to uninstall an app all my android apps would crash. Checked out BlackBerry forums and got linked to an android runtime update on BlackBerry World. Very happy to say it solved the problem. If anyone else has this problem please say and I will edit this to add the link.

This issue and solution has been discussed so many times here. I'm always surprised by those who are still unaware of it.
The issue and solution was even posted on Crackberry blogs: http://www.crackberry.com/if-youve-b...update-try-now

The Runtime fix only applies to 10.3.2.2876. If you installed it with your older OS, it may cause problems.

    Hi,
This is a huge thread - and I apologize if this has already been posted.
I just have to say that Cobalts work is outstanding and the replies in this thread are pretty helpful.

I was able to get Google Play working etc and then it came to having to installing the Google services.
After consideration, I think I would no longer prefer to keep manipulating my BB Classic. Too many variables and think I just want it as is.

So I have a couple of questions:
1 - best way to totally remove google play as per Cobalts install steps.
2 - best way to remove one of the apps - its the android wear app - keep asking for google services. I tried to uninstall from play store on bb classic - its just closed the page and icon still there
3 - i still want to remove google play and the android wear app, after doing so - there are still 2 apps that I wanted to keep from the play store. ( PayPal and my credit union) would this be possible? Knowing that they won't get update and neither are available as of yet on Amazon.
    Cheers & thanks

If you want to delete Cobalt's apps just delete those as you would any other app.
Of course any patched app that you have won't work.
    It's your decision.

    Hi,
Thank you for replying to my previous questions.

    1. Could you please advise if i need to install file: cobalt.android.browser.apk from Cobalt's landing Page?
    2. Before patching Google Maps app, do i need to Add 'Google Maps app - com.google.android.apps.maps.apk' to Google+ White list of is it a pre-spoofed app?
    Thanks in advance.
