just wanna to report in my Z10, youtube doesnt play the video, but show the playlist, google maps not responding when draging the maps but the menu button still working.
all cobalt google apps installed.
youtube and maps newest version and patched.
Z10STL100-1/10.3.2.2876 with downgrade android bar.

any suggestions?

There is a problem with how the apps (youtube specifically) perform on STL100-1 devices. It is a device specific issue where videos appear to load indefinitely. I don't believe there is a fix for this as it is a hardware issue and not an app issue.

Question for Cobalt

When we install the Google services we also re install the services RIM has taken off due to privacy concern priory removed?

I saw that when you run the play services you over cross the option of BlackBerry GPS so you're basically tracked 24/7 by Google. It will also affect navigation. Isn't it?

I just downloaded snap yesterday, I had forgotten how good that was . So if I want to make several apps work I have to download ALL of the patches that cobalt put in this thread? If so, do I add them just like I did with snap? And finally , the apps that pop up saying I need google play, do I delete this and then download after I install patches?

I'm not sure what you're doing. Have you already installed CoC (and if so, are you logged into Google+)? Is this a fresh install?

It depends.

If you ONLY want the Play Store (instead of Snap), then you install (and sign in and register) Google login, BlackBerry Google ID, and Play Store.

If you want to use an app that requires Google Play Services, you can ONLY do this with Cobalt's method. You install the above, plus Cobalt's modified Google Play Services, and you must patch whatever app uses those services with Play Services Patcher on your PC.

If you want to log into Google+ or make in-app purchases with patched apps, then you have to have all of the above plus you need to use whitelist (whitelist unpatched app prior to patching). You may also need Cobalt's modified Google Play Games.

I downloaded Google acct, blackberry Google ID and play services, as you can see, I see them in my downloads, but then when I look for them when I click on "install apps" I don't see them as options

Apk files are not sideloaded. You install directly on the device.

Just transfer the apk files you want to install to your phone by USB (or download directly with your phone) then navigate to the location they are saved in and tap to start installing.

It think I have everything installed . I don't want to get into the patching right now but all else works....it's a bit slow though. But I can manage. I'll be donating really soon!!

If you want to get the apps playing nice with Google Play Services from Cobalt, I would remove anything from Snap and download fresh from the Play Store so the apk file gets linked to your google ID and email in the store.
