I was able to get Google play store. I installed Google hangouts but it won't open. I get an error stating I need. Google play services. I tried to. Install Google play service but it won't install. What can I do?

Yep, that's the log. And I believe that I can see the problem. Play Services Patcher seems to be located in E:\Let�lt�s. This path has special characters, that are not correctly processed. You can see in the lower part of the log, that the files that should be patched are found in path E:\Let”lt‚s\.

Quick fix:
Rename the folder where Play Services Patcher is located to E:\Letoltes (no �, no �). Then it should work.

Don't use Lucky Patcher. Use Play Services Patcher on the PC.

The most common problem is, that the path to the java installation MUST end with Java.exe

Example:

Correct:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_40\bin\java.exe

Wrong:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_40\bin\

I changed the path to the Java installation but I get a message that framework can't be found.

Can you patch other apk files? Maybe the file is corrupt?

Account Manager 4.3.3
Blackberry Google ID 2.7 (new)
Google Play Services 8.4.89
Google Maps (Patched with Play Services Patcher)

With that setup, you can use EVERY feature of Google Maps and you get INSTANT lock on your location, even in buildings.

I have the latest version of those exact files from this thread's first page installed and have patched the latest Google Maps and I still don't get a GPS lock. Location is working in every other app. It does let me sign in and I can see starred locations now (finally!) but still no location at all and therefore still no turn-by-turn. I'm on a Classic and have restarted the phone already. Any ideas?

I am not able to download offline maps, the best I can get is 60% done and then it fails.
I don't think I have any connection problem because my Wifi is very stable and I have solid LTE connection as well.

Can you check if you are able to download offline map of a city?

And all of a sudden, a few hours later it starts to work! Hopefully it was just a settling process and this resolves the issue permanently

I am running the latest leak and the official version before that neither would complete the download.

I found some time to play around with Google Wear. A first analysis revealed that this app requires Google Play Services and Google Now (com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox) to run.
I patched both apps, but I don't have anywear components so I can't do any testing. Maybe someone with a Smartwatch wants to give this a try.

It is absolutely important that you install the apps in the correct order.

1. Install Google Now

Only try this if you have the full cobalt stack installed (Account Manager, Blackberry Google ID, Google Play Services, Google+ Whitelist)

Throw Lucky Patcher in the garbage. It's success rate is low.

Use Cobalt's Play Services Patcher on your PC.
