What's the experience with updating Clash of Clans? Do I need to Uninstall? I don't want to lose settings/relink account.

So I tried my own test.

1. Uninstall current COC
2. Download new one via Cobalt Play store
3. Repatch normally with Lucky Pather
4. install patched
5. reload ur village

You don't need to uninstall first. Patched app will update over patched app.

Hi there,

I have a new updated Blackberry Classic I am desperate to have work with Google Play Services items like Citi Bike here in NYC.

I did install Google Account Manager and Blackberry Google ID all from links on Cobalt. I then installed Google Play Store and got the Cit Bike app off of there. The link to the Gmaps patch doesn't work somehow. I then managed to get the Lucky Patcher link to install on the BB. The top link doesn't work; the bottom one does.

I am STILL unable to install Google Play Services 8.1.0.5 from the Cobalt page. What can I do now?

Just want to thank Cobalt (and also hasmukh1, who made the post that first triggered my memory) for sharing the method for how to properly patch You Tube for myself. I was having problems updating to the prepatched version shared recently, but I tried the method step by step that was listed and am happy to say that I finally got version 10.34.57 working well on my phone after doing it on my own. It's nice not seeing it sitting in my list of apps to update any more!

Question to all:
Since I installed GP Services every time I use Skype (the one downloaded on BB world) it says I don't have GP services. This shouldn't be happening because it an app downloaded from BB world right? is anybody experiencing something similar?

hi everyone, i have a question with google keep - using location based reminder feature
has anyone had success using it. i get error messages inside the blackberry notifications that "location information not available"? something like that, not sure the exact message

i checked the google account manger location settings, it looks ok, can't find any settings inside google keep.

All I did was update my Google Maps Patched, but you might want to delete the previous version first and then install!

That link can't be the latest version of Play Store. Go to first post and follow the link there to get to the correct Play Store thread with the latest Play Store files.

I've sideloaded a bunch of stuff already, including Snap, Play Store, Google-BBID, and Google Account Mgmt, but for some reason this one just won't work. I was also able to sideload Play Services on earlier, so no idea why it isn't working now. Any help would be appreciated!

You don't sideload Android apk files. They install directly by selecting them from the device.

No need to convert apk to bar anymore. Delete all other instances of the apps you've been trying to install, do a hard reset of the phone, and do a fresh install of the apk's.
