So here's how it works with the new Google+ feature:

Apps that want to sign in using Google+ are verified from Google Play services by using the developer signature. With the patching of an app, the original signature is lost and the app will not be able to authenticate.

I have built a workaround that lets us spoof the original developer signature directly in Google Play Services. As the signatures have to be hardcoded in Google Play services, each new signature automatically results in a new build. That's why I will try to group the signatures and release one build a week or so.

Now it's up to you. Post the signatures of your Google+ apps here and I will implement them into Google Play. I've updated the first post with some new instructions and a new version of Google Play services that supports patched versions of Youtube and Clash of Clans (GMAPS patcher or LUCKY patcher will do).

Cobalt SignatureTool
This is a helper app to gather signature information from apps that require Google+ login.

Instructions:
1. Install an unpatched version of the app that uses Google+ Login
2. Run SignatureTool, select the app and press "TO CLIPBOARD"
3. Post the signature information here in this thread.
3. I will then add your app to the Google Play Services whitelist

Please only post one signature set per package.

Were you able to get Clash of clans with your Google Services account? My wife has old Samsung S3 and she is a big fan of BB passport. She is using S3 because of CoC game. If I can get that game with her account on BB Passport then it will be her main device.

Only problem with this is that for us CoC players on BB10 were gonna have to install a patched version off the game and progress would need to be backed up through BB Link and restored once the patched one is installed.

@cobalt can we update and patch the newer version of YouTube and it will still work or stick to the patched version in the 1st post?
Also, do you think this would help with the Google maps not being able to sign in when we have both the account manager and the play services apps installed?

They are app specific and never change. So once it's spoofed it should work forever.

You un-hid stock Android Web browser. Can you do the same for stock android messaging app or is it not possible?

I can't find a way on the Android end to read Hub notifications.

I installed patched coc and the new version of play services from post 1 after clicking on Google plus in coc it says I need play games.
So I installed patched version of play games than started again and I got a warning that play games crashed. I clicked ok than there is a rotating circle and nothing happens

Cobalt - you might have solved a great puzzle, for the benefit of the many, but I want to hear it in your voice alone, given how many negative voices there are. I am considering buying a Blackberry Passport, but want to know about Google on that phone:

- Can I get Google Play running
- Can I download and use: Gmail, Maps, Youtube, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Photos
- This can all be a technical set-up and/or hack, no problem, but does it break the phones general security capacity
- Is a phone with those customisations likely to be bricked by BB

?
