You can have either Maps working fully and all the other apps depending on the Google Play Services will not work, or not work right. Or all the other apps working correctly and Google Maps without login and starred places. You cannot have both.

Looks like play store also does not work without login.

How about Gsf v3? Is it required for other apps? Basically I don't need maps login but other functional apps as well as google ones.

I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure there isn't a way for you to connect your game directly to a Google account on a BlackBerry device. I think your best bet is if the game logs in through a third party service like Facebook, but even that can be spotty. For every game that works for (Candy Crush) there is one that it won't (Quiz Up). And if it doesn't work after patching the app, there isn't any other thing you can do that can make it work.

Looking for this as well... i really like fasttube but it wont work with yatse to share youtube videos to my xbmc htpc.
This worked with youtube before but i lost my working version after upgrading and testing 10.3.1 and cant find the original apk yet.

Ive installed the latest version of the 3 apks on the frontpage and also patched the latest youtube apk with the windows program but it still crashes right after starting the app.

Shouldn't the title of this thread be "Cobalt Presents Google PlayStore and Play Services for BlackBerry 10"
Since not many people still know about this who are on CB.

    Hi Cobalt

I have exactly the same error!
    I'm running on a Z10 STL 1 with OS 10.3.0.1418

    I have installed:
    • Google Login
    • Blackberry Google ID (v1.0 and v1.1)
    • Google Play services (v5.0.89)
    • Google Play store v5.0.38
    • Google Play store Downloader

    also:
    • Android Settings
    • Android Browser

    And exactly equal of "Escorpion7280":
    • Network operator: Movistar
    • Network operator code: 722070
    • Locale language: es
    • Country: ar

The patching of Google Play Services served me to use INBOX, that everything works OK.

But, I can not download no application from Google Play, as it gives me the error 400.

I put the same GSF-ID that SNAP.

    Thanks
    Regards

    Hi.
If your answer is for me, I do and dont. The same error 400

Also, I try out with Blackberry Google ID v1.0 and v1.1, and note that in v1.1 the GSF-ID differe from Snap.
    Is normal?

Also try with and without email/password in Google Play store Downloader

    Thanks

    Some tips:
    1. Only install Google ID v1.1 and checkin .Remove Google ID 1.0.

    2. Remove GSF ID key in Google Play Store downloader and then close the downloader. It will automatically use the ID you received from Google ID app the next time you start the downloader.

    Hi.
    1. I removed v1.0 and only install v1.1 of Google ID
    2. I removed all setting from Google Play Store downloader, then closed it. When open, give me the new GSF-ID from Google ID.
    3. I have installed v6 of Google Services.

But, its not equal from GSF-ID from SNAP, with same email/password.

And "error 400" continues when I tried to download something from Google Play Store.....

    Thanks for your time.

Your settings seem to be ok. Its normal that the GSF-ID is different. Each time you checkin, a new GSF-ID is calculated by the Google servers depending on your login credentials, your device data and the current date/time.

Error 400 means "bad http request". Maybe the app you are trying to download is not available? Did you try to download an other app?

    did not know. Sorry.

With any app that I downloaded (games, app, etc), I get this error.
With SNAP, same app download OK

Install over again Google Play services v5.0.89 and no changes.

which version is more appropriate to install? v5.089 or v6?

    Thanks Cobalt.

Do you have your device set to allow downloading of apps from third parties? Make sure that is enabled by going to your device settings, then tap on app manager, and then installing apps, then you shouldn't have any issues.

OK, I eventually did get all of Cobalt's apps installed. I had previously installed Google Play Services via Snap, which was a newer version than Cobalt's. I uninstalled that version and installed Cobalt's successfully.
