Which applications are you getting this error in?

Have you installed gsf v3 and installed and configured blackberry Google id with your gsf id?
I've noticed that I also have this problem with all apps since I upgraded to 10.3.1.1016. I'm actually leaning towards wiping the device and re-installing the OS with an autoloader as there are a couple of other things not working exactly how I would like after loading the blitz file, so if I actually commit to that hopefully I can clear whatever causes this issue for me.

Just gotta say thanks for this. I've been trying unsuccessfully to get the Google login to work for... we'll more than a year... and now it does. With this recipe all the minor issues I had with my apps have completely disappeared. Awesome work!!!!

Can anyone running 10.3.1 report on this? Wondering if it's a 10.3.1 issue, or a specific pattern of usage (like upgrading from 10.3 to 10.3.1, or upgrading Google play services or gsf from one version to the next)

For what it's worth I went from 10.3.0.1418 to 10.3.1.1016 on my Z10-4 using a blitz file with sachesi and had no issues with these pop ups on the earlier OS build. As mentioned before, there are a few other odd things happening with my device (hit or miss advanced interactions which are usually a miss, overflow menus not working for any notification or BBM, a few more as well that weren't there with 10.3.0) which I'm still thinking about trying to fix with an autoloader and no restore to see if anything improves.

Loading the play services on 10.3.1 causes cpu usage to go crazy after the reboot, maintaining 25-35% constantly till uninstall and reboot. Kills battery.

Some news about what you can expect to be released this week:

    1. Google Play Store 5.0.38
Version is patched and running. I had a deeper look into that bug where Play Store was triggering Play Store Downloader to automatically download com.google.android.gms and I found an elegant method to disable it. Further more, this release will be focusing on having as less patching as possible. To achieve this, Play Store will no longer have a hardcoded GSF-ID key. It will fully rely on the Gservices content provider (as it should be). Therefore, it will be mandatory to have the Blackberry Google ID app installed and configured on the device. It will provide the required GSF-ID and country settings.

    2. Google Play Store Downloader
A new version will be up with the following changes:
Fix: No longer has a hardcoded network operator name, network operator code, locale language and country code. These settings are now collected from the devices during first app startup and are set as default values in preferences. So if your provider is T-Mobile and your language is english, these settings are automatically used . You can override the settings anytime by manually changing the values in preferences.

    Google Play Store 5.0.38 patched
Official updated Play Store by Google, patched by cobalt

    Changelog:

New: Now uses GSF-ID and device_country from Blackberry Google ID. This app must be installed or you will not be able to browse the store.
New: Intent being sent to Play Store Dowloader now contains package version (new, will work with new Play Store downloader)
Fix: Autoupdate of com.google.android.gms is now suppressed
Fix: reduced set of required patches
Fix: Uninstalling apps in my apps list now works. If you confirm to delete you will see a second request from the OS. You must also confirm this or the remove process will fail. This is because Google Play store set's up a listener after first confirmation and if you don't confirm the second request the listener listens forever.
