I remembered back then that to clear the cache of an app. You hold the X button of the active frame of that app until the app proceed on closing.

Lol.. as a poster mentioned, I'm using a Z30. Sorry..

If have no slightest idea how to kill/close app within device monitor. But you can certainly delete app from there.
And this data mining will eventually hogs the phone someday.
Wish there's a method to delete cached datas.
My CrackBerry app is at 220+mb. Will it grow to 1GB soon?
How about my other apps also collecting datas?
Any ideas or method, guys?

Thanks for the info (and my multiple face slaps about you using the Z30 instead of the Z10) On my Z10, going into Device Monitor and choosing and app - whether PIM or Standby or CB10 or just randomly chose one, if you hold/tap the app in question, it will bring up the specifics (battery usage, CPU, Memory graphs etc..) as well as showing the grayed out icon for "close" or "delete" (the only one that has the delete option is CB10, but where as before, I could close BBM or Text messages or even Phone) now those options are no longer available.

Any thoughts?

Yeah.. I've noticed the greyed out close button..
Not an option cos it don't do anything.

Still wondering how to delete the over volume cache on apps. Especially iGrann and CB apps.
