I don't have to agree with anyone since it's my thread.

We all do different things with our devices and may have installed different things which make our phone react differently.

On 10.2.1 I had to install Google play services and the play store to run such apps such as Candy crush. (uses Google play services)

On 10.3 I no longer needed this and that was my argument. You cannot log into Google play services however the apps don't crash anymore.

The version before the latest update was working just fine, and after the latest update Chrome just crashes

*didn't need play services either, I just downloaded Chrome directly from the Play Store

*UPDATE*: It worked fine on my z10 but I uninstalled it for security reasons

Below is a link to a working apk of Chrome!

I finally got around to turning on my HP TouchPad (which has been a long while and the battery is holding up considerably well considering it was released four years ago) and backed up the version of Chrome that was on it, and if I remember correctly, this version of Chrome isn't the latest version that worked on a BlackBerry before it was updated not to work.

I just tested it on my z10 (a ShopBB Z and on .1949, and still waiting for official OS push ) and it does work as I remember which is not smooth with loading tabs or tapping away within the app but when a page loads its more than acceptable....plus after you sign into your account, you get cross-syncing access to your heightless mounds of saved bookmarks and folders!

Thank you so much! It's installed and it works. But to bad I can log in with my Google account and sync my bookmarks... I tried and it won't work

BlackBerry browser is legit, but lacks a legitimate ad blocker like the ad blocker plus add on.

No problem, enjoy!

I was able to log into my account, I use two-step verification for anything that I login with Google and if that fails for some reason, I create an app-specific password from Google Security Settings

After recommending this old version of Chrome (released on December 3rd) on another thread, I realized that it isn't secure and I'd feel awful if someone's data was compromised, so I took the link down and DO NOT recommend using older versions of Chrome lower than version 41. So no more Chrome on my z10 but I'll live.

I read articles on web, as soon as it looks like text is loaded, but page is still loading crap I click on READER, clean text, no ads, very fast load up.
