Hi all,

I am having some issues lately with my carriers performance, mostly related to sending mms picture messages and another isolated issue with a specific contact.

A friend of mine who's also on the same network keeps insisting that the issue might be because I can't get carrier updates on BlackBerry 10. He's not referring to anything OS related, specifically updates from the carrier so that carrier functions can continue to work properly. I guess he would get them on his unlocked BlackBerry Priv and other Android and Apple devices.

Since I have only used BlackBerry devices I am not sure. I currently have an unlocked Passport SE on Freedom Mobile. Can anybody speak to other devices they have and if they get carrier updates directly from there?
