I have a setup where I monitor all alarming for various facilities I am responsible for. These are Water and Waste water facilities and there are many signals sent through the day and night.(up to 200/d) In the past I have just turned off all notifications for all texts to stop the obvious annoyance. I was pleased to see the new notifications by contact come in but no matter what I did these texts still brought in the notification. I then just purchased Power Tools and tried to block the texts (still can review them in the blocked log) but they continue right through.

The one thing that may be the issue here is that these texts are not generated by SMS nor do they come in with a phone #, they look to be forwarded emails to SMS as the contact looks like this: "[email protected]" then the automated message about what facility and what alarm condition is present

Any thoughts on how to resolve this?

Interesting question. I'm not sure how to solve this one....anyone else have an idea?
