What OS are you trying to reload? You will probably need to use an autoloader http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...loader-927076/

You are seeing Link at work for an official OS. If you have the latest official for your carrier you will not see a message about a new OS. Try the link hamsterwheel offered and use an autoloader if you are comfortable. Or search the forums for an autoloader for the OS you wish to reload.

http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...evices-946094/ for autoloaders and full instructions. Pretty simple process. If you are going to that much trouble you may want to consider a 10.3 OS under the same process.

thank you for your answer. is it possible that after i downgrade to an older OS via autoloader, my blackberry link reload would work ?

this is the message i keep getting via blackberry link when i try to reload. i already used an autoloader but that didnt fix my battery drain issue. some people pointed that reloading the software via blackberry link fixed that problem. this is why i want to reload and not use an autoloader.
    please help !

You can always do a "soft brick" and then use Link... Search the forum for "soft brick" if you like, but I can't recommend this procedure.
The better is to search for the autoloader version you would like...

"blackberry link could not update your software. verify that you are connected to the internet"

So verify your internet connection and don't forget to open your firewall for BlackBerry Link.

Is blackberry link maybe being firewalled? Any firewall or security programs such as avg, norton etc. You could try disabling those even the one built into windows because based on your reply blackberry link can't get on the Internet. If that doesn't work uninstall completely and reinstall blackberry link. Just a couple thoughts.

No and yes. Carrier can apply updates. Stay on the last version for yours.
By the way, you have an issue with BlackBerry Link. And a firewall is up, probably the Windows default one. You will have to correct this
And, last but not least, Sachesi is just a tool to make an autoloader. Well, it's usefull for backup also, but for you, it's the same thing that to find the correct autoloader.

Do a follow-up on the other thread you started. It's off-topic here. And add screenshots of your Device Monitor By the way, after the autoloader, did you do a restore from backup ? Because it's forbidden in your case
