Which device do you have?
And what exactly is the "latest update"? Please provide your OS version number, and your previous one too if you remember it.

Do you know how to find your version? If you reply from the CB10 app, in the reply field type myver and then a space and your device & OS version will magically appear.

Oh I actually mine makes noise too. Had to test since I don't dial by number very often I guess!
I'm on a Z10 with the current Telus official OS 10.1.0.4633.

Oh well, sorry!

Seems like if device is on Silent or Vibrate Only, the Dial Pad is silent. So it's attached to the profiles, but not customizable.

Isn't it once again a stupid BlackBerry again. Can't customise. All other phones I use allows for mute dialling when using normal mode. Stupid z10

Admittedly, it's silly you can't change it, but that hardly makes the device "stupid." That's a wee bit of exaggeration.

It is when you add all the other blunders. Eg. No multiple alarms. Also Repeated prompting for updates. Etc. And the top of the lists, disappeared text message history after update!!!! BlackBerry should be renamed Crapberry
