Hi, i cant install leak 1925 on z10 stl100-1.
I follow the instruction but still can't install, only resetting device again again n again.

Hi Bangjo11 and welcome to the CrackBerry community !

First things I'd suggest :
1/ Double check that the leak is the proper one for STL100-1 (see here : http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...ll-q-z-887047/) In case, DL it again.

2/ Check that you are using genuine BlackBerry USB cable
3/ Check that you are plugged in an USB2 (VS USB3) port.

No.1 & 3 checked ok, last time i use the same autoloader for my redz10 n success.
Now i install for my friend z10, i use oem blackberry (not z10 original) cable, is it matter?

If the cable is labelled BlackBerry, it should fit.

Edit : you may try to enable the developer mode on the Z (settings/security/developer mode). Not sure it can help, just the (probably unuseful) habbit I have when I do anything like sideloading.

I had the same problem loading 1925. Changed ports, changed cables, downloaded the leak a second time, started the autoloader with my Z10 plugged in, plugged in the Z10 after the autoloader started, nothing. So I gave up for the evening. Next morning, I decided to try again and it worked first time. I don't know what, if anything, I did differently that morning.

This is an odd error and others have reported having a similar problem. I have never had this problem before and I have loaded a fair number of leaks. Of note, I had the same problem a little later when I tried to autoload a different radio. With that, I never got it loaded. I gave up because I really didn't need the radio that badly.

I haven't really investigated the source of this issue, but I wonder if it has something to do with the latest version of BBLink. Correlation doesn't imply causation, but the only thing I can recall doing recently, i.e. after loading earlier leaks and before this one, is installing an upgrade to BBLink.

Since your device is connected via USB, shouldnt change anything ...
Wait: is the charging icon flashing on the Z when you plug it ?
If not, then I suspect something either with the cable or the port ...

Bangjo11, there is another way to install a leak and that is using Sachesi, a program developed by a member here, Xsasha, and available here:

I have never had to use it, so I am not that familiar with the process. As I understand it you have to extract the bar files from the autoloader, then install them on your Z10. Both steps can be done using Sashesi.

Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can chime in on this.

I think is not the cable. Bcause i use it for backup n its okay no problem, n it charge too. I'll try sachesi later, never try it before. Thanks.

oh, just experienced a problem with my Z10 connecting to W8.1-64. Device was not recognized besides the "RIM disk device".
Go into settings/storage and share and change the "USB connection" mode from "Autodetect" to "Connect to Windows".
May help ... let us know.

It's waiting to connect to the device on reboot. It is supposed to trigger the reboot automatically but sometimes fails and sits in a loop. While in that state..... Reboot the device. (battery pull for 3 seconds)
