I'm running 10.2.1 on a Z30 and I cannot get my work account to work, I had the BES admin reset my activation password but it keeps saying cannot create account. Does anyone have a fix for this or know what could be wrong?

Does the BES limit which OS versions are allowed to activate?

I downgrade using an autoloader for version 10.2.0 1803 and I can now activate my work account so definitely seems to be an issue with 10.2.1. If anyone finds/knows of a solution please let me know.

We're you trying with 10.2.0 or 10.2.1? Cause I am able to connect to the BES With 10.2.0 just not 10.2.1. Your admin might need to upgrade to BES To support 10.2.0.

I'm on 10.2.1.055 on BES. The activation errored out first time but the second time everything went through normally and now I have properly set up work partition and email account.

Interesting... I tried it like 10 times and even got the admin to reset the password a few times. Maybe I'll give it a shot again just annoying to re-install the phone again to try. I'm wondering if their blocking versions from the BES... Their pretty restrictive on what we can do with the phone.

I got it working this time... Not sure what fixed it but this is what I did;

So I installed 10.2.1 again and I did a security wipe did NOT restore a backup and went straight to activate my work space and it worked this time.

I have never had an issue activating my bes account with any of the links and I have tried them all. I am also my besadmin and my server is at 10.1.3. I have also always activated my bes before restoring.

Trying the 10.2.1 - already wiped the device, re-installed the leak and tried to activate before restoring my data - no way.
today i have received an email from the admin saying that 10.2 is not compatible with our server and that they are "studying the next steps".
these guys are really secretive and do not disclose too much information, so i do not really know what version we are running.

Was wondering whether there is any module from previous OS version that could be sideloaded and that could run. any ideas? would be my very own hybrid... i getting sick just by thinking on downgrading! already used to have instagram, netflix and all the nice stuff on my Z10!

does anybody have an idea on whether it is possible to change some modules, as described above?

Well that was too good to be true... Phone started acting weird... I rebooted wont boot... I tried reload 10.2.1 again wont boot. I tried letting link reload wont boot, I tried an autoloader of 10.2.0 wont boot reload with link again wont boot. Not too sure what else to try.

Won't turn on, it will let me autoload it but then never boots. I brought it back for a replacement... Hopefully they don't realize I put 10.2.1 on it... They weren't able to restore the OS either. I think it was a coincidence though cause it was working I just did a reboot and it would boot anymore.

He's talking rubbish. I have a Z10 running 10.2.1.1055 and several Z10s running the official 10.2.0.xxxx activated against a BES10.0 server and that's an old version now, goes back to January of this year.

He is, but as a BES Admin I can see why he wouldn't want to deal with it. Having said that I've actually had to install a leak of 10.2 on one of my users devices to fix a problem he had where that was my last resort.

I have had a few issues with people not being able to activate (10.1 device) on the server if they already had personal mail accounts setup on the phone. Deleted them, added work account, and added them back no problems. I wonder if that was the original issue? That would be the reason it worked before the restore. Johnnyuk no issues with 10.2.1 on BES 10.0 at all? Thinking about putting it on my device and running it on my 10.1 server.

I've been tempted too but I'm resisting using most of the leaks for users, they all have something that doesnt work quite right.

The only autloader I would use for 10.2 for a user right now is the one that appeared for the official 10.2.0.1803 as that's as kosher as a leak can get.

I haven't discovered any problems in the Work Space with 10.2.1.1055 on BES10.0 but then I don't think the Work space has changed much, except how you access it which is now from the Quick Settings menu and no longer by swiping down the middle of the screen on the app grid - that was a shock!

The Personal Space will have the same issues that have been reported here in the forums, things like MMS problems, Music playing problems, Facebook message problems in the Hub, major Hub weirdness if you restore Settings with Link, those are the ones I have seen people here report, there may be others.

I wouldn't put it on a user's phone it's just on a test Z10 of mine.
