    I just bought a alpine UTE-42BT... it will pair with it... but the music will not play.... any suggestions?

    Im.guessing it's a wiring issue.... not sure
    It will pair with laptop and phone... no audio...
    Tried using aux with both phone and laptop... zero luck....

    Not familiar with that device bit is it designed to play music via Bluetooth. Not all will.

    Ryan, turn the volume up to MAX, maybe you can barely hear it. This is the issue I'm having and currently searching for a fix.

    So the fix was to use BBLink/preferences/Reload device software. This softbricks the phone and sets it back to the day you bought it with current OS. Use backup pro or even a bblink backup or both.

    In the bluetooth setup, under device details for your bluetooth device, be sure "Audio streaming" is turned on. Also, at the bottom of the main Bluetooth settings page, select "Configure" and turn on rSAP Mode, some people have had issues like yours and turning on rSAP resolved the issue for them.
