Cannot update z10 from leaked OS

My wife and I are both running. 1743 on our Z10's. Mine works flawlessly, best OS I have ever run on a blackberry.

My wife's on the other hand has a serious lag on her text message screen. Please don't tell me to delete messages, we have deleted all of them. This problem occurred with the leaked OS I installed.

So i have just tried to update her phone to the official release from last week, and I am getting an error message and an incomplete update. Am I missing something, should the newest official release just over write the leaked one like normal. This is new to me, I only started sideloading on my phone recently.

The official update (which I assume is 10.2.0.1791) should install over 10.2.0.1743, I'm not sure what's going on here.

If it's possible, try to install 1791 with an autoloader, the files that got leaked a little while ago are the same files that are on BlackBerry's update server.

^that, or try to update through BlackBerry Link or the website. When you connect your phone to BlackBerry Link, it should show an update available, and prompt you to download and install it.

I'm in the US and Link shows 10.1 as the latest os. Where are you when checking for the update?

I misunderstood. I thought you were on a carrier that had "officially" released the OS. I, too, am in the US. Sorry for the confusion.
