I wiped my media and reinstalled my Kindle stuff. This keeps the 8 offending pics at the end so the other pics can be scrolled through. This was driving me crazy but at least now the pics don't get in the way.

Mine came up after updating Skype a few days ago. Very annoying problem but nothing that I have tried is working so I will just live with it for now

The Unknown Folder is created in the SD Card itself. Copy the full content of the SD card in a computer, format the SD Card(from Mobile Settings Option) and copy back the content to SD card again. And Voila!!

Sort of same problem here. Got three blank spaces and about 3-4 pics that won't delete even after deleting them. File manager can't see them.

Have 'Skype (preview)' and sideloaded Naver Line. No kindle installed ever.

That's weird. Mine disappeared after I updated the OS, although I did uninstall both Skype and kindle before the update.

I wonder if this could be happening because it is displaying a previously stored thumbnail of a photo that has been deleted.

I agree that it shouldn't work this way. I don't have this issue on my phone but it's just an idea. I think the previous suggestion of reformatting the card and reloading it with the files from a backup copy should solve this for you.

hi guys, here is the solution.

    1. within blackberry file explorer, go to the properties of the 'rogue' image and find out the exact file name and directory (ie camera folder, or images)
    2. connect your blackberry to a PC
    3. within file explorer, copy another image file from a different folder that doesnt have the problem
    4. make sure to show file extensions within the PC folder viewing option
    5. rename the image file to the 'rogue' image file's exact file name and file extension
    6. you should be able to delete the image now
