I side loaded PPSSPP (psp emulator) and when you first open it, it creates a save folder your game saves go into. Documents/psp/savegame

Well the folder SAVEGAME is read-only and I can't delete it, tried file manager, ghost commander, super file manager and of course windows while connected to my PC. No Joy!

Anyone have any ideas? Oh and the program PPSSPP Doesn't have a way to delete the folder (this app "Owns" the folder thus why I can't delete it) I tried un installing the app, no joy.

I had the same problem on my z10. Tried to delete a folder and got a pop up message saying "Folder is not empty and cannot be deleted" ora something like that. I found a workaround connecting my z10 to my Mac via us and deleting that folder via computer. It worked. Give it a try

Didn't work for me, I connected the playbook via usb and used blackberry desktop sofware but when trying to delete it said I didn't have permission or something like that.

Try to delete it from PC or Mac connected to your PlayBook via wifi outside of desktop manager just using explorer.

Try to check permissions using a terminal emulator on the device
    How do you do that?

    Like this:
    http://forums.crackberry.com/android...folder-794196/
You install bgshell from app world, then browse typing unix commands to that folder, and with ls -l see the permissions

When I delete the undeletable folder from pc, I don't get any error, but it doesn't get deleted

I downloaded a few podcasts via the built-in web browser. I simply downloaded the .mp3 files, and when I noticed that they went to the downloads folder on the device. When I went to use the file manager to move those to the sd card, 3 of the podcasts went fine, but 6 of them errored out with a permission denied.

I don't have my phone set up with a PC conveniently, however, I've tried:
    * The File Manager app that comes with the z10. If I view properties, I can see that the files are read-only, however that isn't a changeable field.
    * I installed BG Shell. navigating to /sdcard/download/, I can view the files. They are mode 0600. I get permission denied if I try to chmod or chown them to anything more flexible.
    * There don't seem to be sudo or su in the path within the bgshell space, so I don't know that I can do much more without elevated permissions...I've only poked around for a few minutes, though.

We must warn BlackBerry of this bug, hopefully in a next update they will do a chmod 777 -R on the base folder, fixing the problem

I don't think it's a big per se, rather a permissions issue. We have no way to override folder/file ownership.

It's a bug that a file can get created with permissions which prevent the creator from modifying, copying or deleting it.

Has this been fixed? I want to install the psp emulator on my playbook/z10 but I am afraid it will create undeletable files again and they are very big, any workarounds to delete them?

Any genius figured out how to change the file/folder permission? I tried Ghost Commander, OI File Manager, SSH, Bgshell.... Just no luck.

Try Root Browser(Install it from snap or another android store). It helped me removing an unwanted folder and some files.
