you can try to load sys.phone + the other appropriate files (iirc)

however, I do not believe it'll work.

Question for those who have loaded sys.phone...

All good? No lost functionality or features as a result?

I'd like to know the answer to this as well... Don't mind the new screen, but would be cool to know if you can switch back anyways if I ever feel like it.

    For Dutch language and support.
Carriers: KPN NL & T-Mobile NL (Dutch).
    Extract BAR-files from Sachesi 1.1
    Mobile codes: 204.
Carrier codes: 10 (KPN, 10.1 MR).
    20 (T-Mobile, 10.2).

Search The mobile codes on Wikipedia. org for Sachesi 1.1

    BB Q10: SQN-100-3. 10.1 MR = 10.1.0.4181
    10.2 = 10.2.0.424

From the early official builds for each (10.1 MR and 10.2) I have extracted of Sachesi 1.1 and tested the phone BAR files named:

    10.1 MR (Below here).

    phone-10.1.1.133-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar phone_settings-10.1.1.133-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar

    10.2 (Below here).

    phone-10.2.0.705-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar
    phone_settings-10.2.0.835-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar

Otherwise you also can look at these two phone BAR files named:

    sys.phone.bar
    sys.phone-settings.bar

Both phone BAR files works perfect on the new leak OS build: 10.2.1.1055 and you get only the swiping Up & Down back.

I normally prefer better for an option for changing ways of swiping phone calls as a new feature.

So far, on my z10 running 10.2.1.1055, sys.phone and sys.phone_settings from .1791/.1803/10.2.1.845 don't bring the old call screen back. At least in my particular case.

I lose all phone functionality with these files. I cannot access the phone at all to make outgoing calls, and incoming calls result in no notification whatsoever. Going through other builds right now to see if anything is compatible. If anyone finds a z10 compliant method of bringing back the old call screen, please share

I as well would go this far to get the swipe up/down back.

I thought that functionality was extremely intuitive.

Maybe BlackBerry is reading this thread and will make the screens an option in an update? I haven't put 10.2.1 on but am not looking forward to the new call answer screen.

I actually prefer the new call screen. I find it much easier to swipe to one side with my thumb.

Same here! I always had an issue getting the old screen to swipe properly for some reason, despite placing my thumb directly on the bar. The new screen works like a charm and is more ergonomic to boot!

I always found the original BB10 answer bar placed in an excellent position for use. I actually find the new answer dot in a less ergonomic location. The swipe left/right is more difficult given how I hold my phone. The swipe left hyper extends my thumb, causing pain, versus the vertical swipe 10.2 and early had.

Looks like another bad decision by BlackBerry. If they wanted to go with industry standard they should have from the get go: BlackBerry 10.0. I don't understand what changed so dramatically from January 2013 to January 2014 they needed to change the call screen. Do we all really believe the call screen was the reason the phones weren't selling? Unfortunately for me to upgrade my OS I need to downgrade my call screen.

Clewley, PLEASE give us the option. You're not in charge of option but you're the only one BlackBerry fans can reach out to.
