I'm assuming only xSacha will know the answer to this but all help is greatly appreciated. Is it possible to remove VZW's system settings off of my STL100-4 so I'll be able to change the APN? The APN setting a aren't even on my device if I go to mobile network, there is no APN button to change the settings.

Essentially I want to change my VZW unlocked Z10 to a factory unlocked Z10 so I can change the APN settings and use Golan Telecom's service in Israel.

I'm on an STL100-4 running 10.3.0.738

Hi, I'm not sure if using the esceen, search for it, will help but it doesn't hold on a reboot. Would maybe the SIM card control that also? A new SIM from them may enable it?

I think it's only locked when a vzw sim is in it. I put an att sim in my z10 once and it booted up, changed the boot logo total att and was good, except for not having any of the correct radios.

I would say just try it with a carrier sim that you want to switch to, just make sure that you have the correct radios for that carrier. You might not get LTE or even 3g.

I've already been off my VZW Sim and on my Golan Telecom SIM in Israel for about a month.

When it boots up I still get the VZW boot up logo. And have no access to the APN settings....

Well that's no issue for me i went into my escreen around 3 weeks ago and changed my APN to internet.golantelecom.net.il and it works. But if possible I'd like to get it officially changed.

Also if anyone knows why I cannot send texts but i can receive them. When I try sending a text it appears as if it went through normally but the messages never reach the other user.

It works but not as well as I'd like. It's a bit buggy. But regardless without changing the APN the correct way you can't MMS.

No such thing. You can install a leak.

Which won't change anything. As soon as the phone is connected to Verizons network, their overrides will still kick in.

Nothing you can do, other than change carriers.
