System is using way too much battery life. I have CrackBerry, Facebook, Whatsapp, Beta zone and a Reddit client installed. Put 799 radio on 10.3.2.2639 and it hasn't made a difference. Wiped device and reloaded OS, battery life is still the same.

I guess @bmcruiser wanted to see what apps are running under cpu tab. Maybe you upload a screenshot?

I'm no expert, but that doesn't seem all that excessive. If I check my Z30, it shows System using 64% in the last 24 hours. Check your "current" CPU usage without any apps running. Mine hovers around 4 - 5% most of the time.

Is it possible your carrier signal has anything to do with it? Where I am, carrier signal can be erratic and unreliable - I've noticed a sharp increase in battery consumption, during times when the carrier signal quality is all over the show. When signal is good and consistent, the radio doesn't need to work so hard.

Reboot the phone at least five to seven times solves this. Assume internal battery setting problem. May fix within 3-5 days.
At least on mine it worked. Z30 @ 2639

Use autoloader with latest OS. Then look for "baseline drain" thread.
Stop messing with radio versions - pointless. Do not reboot your phone at least 5-7 times - total nonsense.

Uh.... Flipshush is using 87% battery in 48 hours. You might want to delete that application.

    You got it wrong man.

Try this: Turn off your phone. Keep it off for at least 30 days. It needs to stabilise in off mode and come to grips with its own self. Then when you turn it on after 30 days give at least 15 reboots within an hour to shock the phone out of comfort zone. Keep rebooting the phone at least 3 times per day for next week. One guy said it worked for him. Battery still bad? It needs to stabilise. Give it another month (at least) to stabilise. Still bad? Perform 3 security wipes back to back followed by a 2xnuke and not less than 3 multi wipe sessions.
Finally return the phone to the store claiming it's broken.

Oh and don't forget to side load any random radio version you come across first because some guy said it was good for him.

Alternatively to all this install BaSa and be done with issues after couple of days.

My battery is draining faster that anticipated on .2639 as well, but I have google play services installed and I know that consumes battery. When the device is not in use, the StandBy app should be at the top of the battery consumption list, I have only seen this once since I wiped and autoloaded last week.

I'll post a pic shortly of the one day I had INSANE battery life, WITH Google play installed. I wish it was like this all the time..

Get the android settings app so you can modify apps in android
Go in each app and disable notifications if you don't need them

I know for flip shush but the app is not the pb. Since ok with it since a reboot. And this never happened before Os 10.3.2
I use it since my q10 on 2011 and still have it on Passport.
The battery usage appeared since 10.3.2 upgrade.

The problem is really the Os.

It's abnormal and annoying to have pim services and system usaaly over than 60 % of battery usage.

Look here the last 48h !

Thanks for responding but flip shush is not the pb at all. It's just a coincidence. I use it since years and never had pb with it before the last updated os.

Dear friends, after lots of searching and investigation and also trying all types of popular radio versions
finally I found the problem with my beloved Z10 where it was plain and simple as a wind
I installed .799 as my radio as my coreOS is .2639 and then I found that the sync was my entire problem
so head into the setting>accounts and changed all sync to manual and surprisingly now I had my first day with about 16hours which I used it heavy
but I believe it can last far much longer cause the time I realized this and fixed it, my phone had roughly 69%

I hope it could be helpful.

Manual sync means you wouldn't get your emails automatically. So I don't think this is the solution. I also experienced fast battery drain after the upgrade to. 2639. I gave it two weeks to settle and it still didn't.

Am now using. 799 Radio with Core of. 2639 hopefully my battery will improve.

I have a problem with some Radio, as 799, is that NFC switch (inside network parameter) is grey and can't be enabled or disabled. It is like if NFC is not included inside these radio.
Anyone else getting this problem ?
