Is there a way to have the camera come up with HDR enabled as the default? Each time I close the camera app and reopen it I must re-enable the HDR.

I just enabled mine and closed the camera and reopened it and it was still enabled.

Stays on whatever setting I have it on, also. Did you try a restart?

I tried a restart and mine still defaults to HDR off each time I open the camera app, I'm on OS 10.3.0.908.

Depends on what device you're on.

Maybe that's a device related problem.
