Hi all!
I did a back up before the factory reset, then restore the whole back up
but nothing in the calendar all my appointments are gone ,all the birthdays,meetings GONE
tryied the restore with the option to restore just the contacts/calendar after 3 times is still empty
what Can i do ???? I know I have the back up files but why doesnt work???

You must check if you instructed the device to delete on handheld and server or only handheld, if the former, that's gonna be tough.

It does take time to repopulate.
But if you sync your calendar with your computer, there's your backup.

It has been almost a day and nothing
I don't sync with the computer by every month I do back up my Z10
I have the last file 3.76 gig, don't have many apps
And I specific checked the option to back up contact and calendar
All contact are back, but chats and message, and calendar are gone
In my case I don't care about the contacts but all the important appointment, meetings, occurrence etc.
Please more help

Try to restore the previous calendar backup and see if that works. If so you would possibly only have to re-input a month.

Suggestion for future: Go to BlackBerry World and download Fire Chest Backup. This program will backup to Dropbox and you'll never have to go through this again. It will also backup your contacts and some other data if you want.

thanks guys I guess I have to give a try and install an older back up or find out all the appointments that I have
