    I have the same issue.

How do you have the Gmail account setup through IMAP or ActiveSync?

This is very inconvenient but I'm sure with an update that could and will be fixed

I have the same issue on my PlayBook and my iPhone - I can't invite people to a google calendar. I chose Google calendar because it could work universally across my devices, except none of them (BlackBerry or Apple) can select attendees from my contacts. Makes the google calendar fine for tracking my own appointments but useless to invite someone else.

Might be user error though. Haven't dug into it further. Still trying to see if I can trick PlayBook to work with iCloud calendaring.

If you add the email account through IMAP then the option to invite is reinstated.

Tricky if you want push email!

I tried everything there is to try and it doesn't work. It used to work on the 7.0 OS. Need some help on this ASAP.

this issue is fixed. if you set up your email through the default (read: not advanced) setup, your calendar will be imported as a CalDAV calendar as far as I understand. You will then be able to send meeting invites through the same associated email. I have tried and tested this and it is working for me.

Are you still able to have multiple Google Apps Calendars?

I do not have a paid Google apps account, but all my calendars came through fine, although it took a little while and didn't happen immediately

Open calendar, swipe down and go to settings. In the meeting invitation settings, does the settings make sense?

I am happy to report, this bug has been fixed in the MR.

I didn't even bother looking but then I received a calendar invite and that accept button was right where it should.

New calendar creation invites work as well...finally!

This is an old thread, but I'm getting that message on my Q10 and I use Outlook and I have the updated 10 software. Is there a solution for it? Will anybody see this comment since this discussion is so old?
