Ever since the latest update to 10.3.2.798 my calendar often crashes when I go to add a new appointment or even when I edit one. Sometimes I have to try 3 times. As soon as I hit 'Add' it shuts down.

Anyone else experience this? It's extremely frustrating for someone who lives in their calendar.

I have ClassicSQC100-4/10.3.2.2252 and no issues with calendar here. Maybe delete calendar using sachesi and reload the bar for it

I'm on 10.3.2.440 on my SQC100-2 (AT&T) and have the same problem. I upgraded from 10.3.1 OTA.

OTA update pushed out. My device is unlocked direct from BlackBerry.

OTA's can be glitchy. I would backup your data and reload the OS with an autoloader. Should fix the issue.

Are you trying to modify an entry on a calendar that is synchronized through an account? If so, try removing the account under Settings > Accounts, add it to the device, and see if the behavior persists. If it does, then you may have to perform a full reload of the device software as previously mentioned.

I ran into this and it seems to be related to scrolling down to change months. I have had success avoiding the crashes by using Go to Date to switch months instead of scrolling down.

Has anyone found a cause or fix for this issue? It becomes very inconvenient. Thanks.

I have exact the same problem on two passports running on 10.3.2.2226.
    Both devices upgraded via sachesi.

I had that issue on one of the earlier 10.3.2 os after I turned on "growing numbers" in calendar settings. What I had to do was switch the view from monthly to a day or week quickly before it loaded all the entries, then go to settings and turn growing numbers off.
Hopefully that's the issue with urs. Give it a try.

Surprisingly that did work. It still crashes after a couple of test edits, but for the most part I can edit or add a new appointment without issues.

Maybe it has to do so the growing numbers and the amount of info it has to load up. Try sticking to daily view as default.
I guess if it loads a certain number of appointments it crashes. Hopefully they fix this later on.

I use agenda view and still have this issue. Also the "go-to date" suggestion didn't work for me unfortunately. BlackBerry better figure this out as I'm not interested in a hodge-podge workaround. This is basic functionality BlackBerry....figure it out.

I don't have growing numbers enabled and still have this problem. I also found that using Go to Date doesn't always work. Eventually you can add the appointment if you keep trying using different techniques, but these crashes are really annoying.

    Still crashing on 10.3.2.2339

And now my work Q10 is doing the same thing since upgrading to 10.3.2.2252 the other day.

How has this not been figured out yet?

I've been trying some of the aforementioned workarounds. So far the only one that seems to work for editing / adding new appointments is to switch to the Day view when actually editing / adding the new appointment.

In my albeit limited testing so far, it seems you have to be in the Day profile to add / edit to avoid crashing Calendar.

If the green button at the bottom of the screen crashes the app when you Add or Edit an entry, try using the pull out menu from the right via the 3 dots. That might do the trick. This app is nice but does have some interface problems.
