It would be nice if BlackBerry had a good built-in dictionary. Spell checking is only one use. It would also be useful to be able to look up the definition of a word by holding and touching the word until an option to define the word pops up.
Yeah at the moment you can only do this in browser which just searches the internet rather than built in dictionary search..

    Plural of "suffix" is "suffices".

Mis-spelling and call-sign need to be hyphenated.

    Problem solved.

Actually while call sign is properly two words, misspelling is correct, not misspelled.

Plural of suffix (end part of a word) has nothing to do with "suffices"... Totally different word...or were you being sarcastic?

You're probably reading it as a plural version of suffice, as in to be good enough, but it is the plural suffix. The plural of prefix is prefices.

Misspell and misspelling are probably UK/US differences. Same as spelled/spelt etc.

    I love English...

Interesting about the -ices ending. It makes sense, but after scouring Google, I can't find any dictionary or hard recommendation for using suffices instead of suffixes. Suffixes is at least the popular, modern form in today's English.

It's not just these two words. It's a lot of words, all the time. And I would love an iOS-style popup dictionary in BB10. And I'm having trouble finding how to singularly backup the user-added dictionary items.

I have the same "gripes" (I really hate that word, but at least BlackBerry didn't give me a red line underneath it).

The BlackBerry Passport continues the BlackBerry tradition of having a really great keyboard, and the people that use these full qwerty keyboard devices are people who like to or have to write a lot. One would think that a great dictionary would accompany these great keyboards.

It's really not too much to ask for.
