Okay, so the thread received several reports of different bugs in the OS. The first bug I encountered was that Hub goes to landscape even if Rotation Lock was on.

I haven't spent time yet to check the phone but I guess the transition from 10.2.1 to 10.3.1 was a tricky one for the engineers at BlackBerry and that's why was the delay in release.

I wiped my phone and at least this bug of Hub display orientation is fixed. Let's see if I'll find more of the reported bugs

I'll try to update this thread with the reported bugs and their possible fixes, stay tuned

Display

• Screen flickers happening randomly in some apps and menus

​possible fix: restart phone

• Color glitches on top of the screen while changing white balance
• Device Monitor app shows what it looks like as an Active Frame
• When screen rotating lock is on, Hub and some other apps (CB10, Insta10) goes to landscape mode and refuses to get back to portrait.
  
• Sometimes menu bar is completely black but still works. Nothing is visible though

Lockscreen

• Clock on the lockscreen is still not centered

Picture Password

• Bottom part is pushed off screen

Phone app

• Phone starts to ring / show someone is calling after 3 rings already from the caller side
  

Android apps

• "Unable to install this app"

Network

• Problems connecting to Edge in Ukraine (STL100-2)

Sound

• Low notification volume
• Low media volume

Contacts app

• Adding a number to contact then saving. Checking back in a while and it's not saved / Lost phone numbers in contacts

Virtual Keyboard

• Word suggestion bar stays after message is sent (empty)
• Sometimes when the virtual keyboard should be hidden, it doesn't resize the menu bar. Result: huge menu bar taking up half the screen.

Advanced interactions

• Not working for some people

BlackBerry Assistant

• Not able to open some apps, says cannot find this app on your device
• Slow

BBM

• Name and status unreadable on light theme (white text on grey)
• Keyboard sometimes cover up the message typing area.

possible fix: update BBM

• Cannot delete chats
• Sending a file opens the File Manager. But the Type:[filetype] dropdown is always active when switching between Device/SD

Facebook

• Facebook account lost from Hub as well as Facebook contacts

possible fix: Log out of the Facebook app. Then add Facebook again from accounts

Camera

• "Camera cannot be started"

Pictures app

• Hidden pictures are shown in active frame

Music app

• Sound stutters while changing the volume

Videos app

• Videos will not play in the video app, screen goes black and will not play however video will play in camera app

Amazon appstore

• Stuck on initializing app
• Crashing on launch after accepting permissions. Possible fix, reinstall apk from amazon website

BlackBerry Maps

• "There is a problem communicating with the server. Try again later. (2001)

USB OTG

• Reported to be not working on STA100-6

WiFi

• Shorter range and disconnecting

General

• Phone stuck on emergency calls
• Phone won't charge
• Can't backup
• Torch won't work
• Too slow and laggy

Did you reboot nd try to replicate to make sure it was not just a fluke?

Hold the top buttom till you see the BB loading screen - ignore all on-screen prompts to reboot/turn off.

I had that problem the other day but a reboot fixed it

Nope. Hard reset and simple reboot didn't fix it

I had this bug because what resolved it was unelected rotation lock and re booted phone and then re locked screen lock rotation and never had issue again

and czech keyboard is screwed up, they put currency symbol on the place where ( used to be :/

You're right with BBM on white theme. Use dark for now. If this is your first time on 10.3.1 then yeah, the keyboard has been remade

Do reboot your device, names are fine here (black color, bold font on chat; black color normal font on status). It could be a minor "theme" issue.

1. In music player if u fast select another song after 1-2 secs after u selected the first one will play a random song or restart the first one...
2.If u listen music the browser will be very slow. The multitasking isn't there...
3. If u change the font, then go back to normal font 6-8, the smaller font will remain on some areas like storage and apps menu...

Can anyone confirm that BlackBerry maps is working correctly? Every 10.3 leak I loaded the map would find the address but when I hit the start navigation it would say it couldn't find the gps? Works fine on 10.2.1.3442

I had the leak installed on my z10 but a older version of 10.3.1 and it had it was handy from the drop down, but on my passport official update it's not there.

Anyone else?

Settings > Quick Settings
It's there for me, you just have to check the box.

Had this issue before, going into Settings, Quick Settings, then Restore Defaults brought it back for me.
